If you use the Avid Application Manager (AAM) to download or update Pro Tools, Media Composer, or AAX plug-ins, it’s essential to know where those files are downloaded.

..folder. Make sure you have ‘Show Hidden Items’ checked. In the folder you will find a ‘Download’ folder (where files are downloaded) and an ‘EX’ folder (where files are extracted). You can come to this location and backup the downloaded files and/or delete them. You can also delete the files from within the AAM by clearing the cache.
